New Smashing Pumpkins track is FREE! A Song For A Son!
A Song for A Son is the first of 44 tracks from the Pumpkins new record Teargarden By Kaleidoscope. Teargarden will be released track by track for free as it is recorded, and then in a 4 cut EP format, eventually totaling 11 discs. I saw this song debut at the Bridge School Benefit last year, and it blew my mind then.
I love the chorus, and it has a dead sexy solo.
The Pumpkins came back from the ashes of their 2001 breakup with 2007's Zeitgeist, just Billy and Jimmy. The new incarnation of the band features Mike Byrne.
Billy fucking rocks.
